The National Guard and the Ministry of Social Policy initiated cooperation on the psychological rehabilitation of combat operations participants

 

June 27, 2018 representatives of the National Guard of Ukraine and the Ministry of Social Policy have signed a memorandum of cooperation in conducting "psychological decompression" for combat operations participants, who return to peaceful territory.

 

The National Guard has experience in conducting activities on psychological decompression in military operational environments for its personnel. The NGU psychologists are ready to share their experience with civilian specialists.

 

The program includes 2 main areas: joint training for specialists in the social sphere and specialists from the National Guard and directly social and psychological assistance to combat operations participants during decompression stage. This psychological support course will take 3-5 days soon after the fighters return from Joint Force Operation area.
